Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and Services Covered

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related services offered by buzzquixra. The services include professional training in video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of high-quality media feeds for news and broadcasting. It covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to training materials. The policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges such as payment processing fees may apply and will be shown at checkout. buzzquixra reserves the right to adjust prices, but changes will not affect confirmed orders. Currency conversion fees for international payments are the responsibility of the customer.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation, and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and other secure online payment gateways. Payments are authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted systems compliant with UK data protection standards under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. buzzquixra does not store full card details.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation. A binding contract is formed when buzzquixra sends this confirmation. Access to digital course materials is granted immediately after confirmation unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under UK law, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation for distance contracts. You may cancel within this period for a full refund, provided you have not accessed or downloaded substantial digital content. Cancellations must be notified in writing via the contact form on our Contacts page.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available for cancellations within the cooling-off period or if services are not provided as described. Non-refundable items include partially completed courses, promotional bundles, and any services already substantially performed. Digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us using the form on the Contacts page or email [email protected]. Provide your order number, reason for the request, and any supporting details. Requests must be made within the applicable time limits.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification

buzzquixra will review each request within 10 business days. You will be notified of the decision by email. If approved, processing begins immediately. Rejected requests will include reasons and options for appeal or further contact via 020 7432 5955.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and Receipt of Funds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes up to 14 days, with funds typically reaching your account within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. For bank transfers, additional verification may extend this period.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, and Promotional Offers

For digital courses, the right to cancel ends once you begin downloading or streaming content. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and may be non-refundable after redemption.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments must be resolved within 7 days or the order may be cancelled. Duplicate charges will be refunded automatically upon detection. Chargebacks are investigated and may result in account restrictions. Suspected fraud leads to immediate order hold and contact with [email protected] for resolution.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights to goods and services of satisfactory quality and remedies for faulty performance. You may enforce these rights through the courts or alternative dispute resolution.
